Monitor Setup
Even if you have a huge monitor, the wrong settings can mean that some web
sites will get cut off or just not look as good as they should. Follow the instuctions
below to set up your monitor to be the best it can.
1. From the Start menu, select "Settings" and then "Control
Panel." A window similar to the one below will appear. Double-click on
the Display icon (circled).

2. Click on the "Settings" tab on the top right of the window that
opens, and this screen should appear:
2. The settings should be changed to match those above (Colors set at High
Color and Screen Area set at least 800x600).
3. If you have Widows 95, you are done. Click OK (and click OK in any dialog
boxes that come up). If you have Windows 98 or Me, click on the "Effects"
tab.

4. Check the "Smooth edges of screen fonts" option if it is unchecked.
Click OK (and click OK in any dialog boxes that come up).
