Password Guide

There are various systems and secured websites located throughout the university. Many of these systems require separate login ID/Passwords. This guide is designed to help you to get familiar with all different systems and passwords they require. It also tells you where to go to get your IDs and passwords. Please note that we designed the FB Direct system to be your gateway to all other systems in the rest of the university. You will get the most comprehensive help information on where to go or who to call from FB Direct. Therefore, it is most important that you get your FB Direct access code first.

FB Direct Password
This is the most important password to keep. It is the key to access all other web services within FB web site. It is pre-assigned to most students within the first week of class and will be sent to your Fordham email account. You can retrieve your password via email at any time.

Fordham Email Password
This is a university system and not supported by FB. You need to contact University Help Desk for support.  As all FB official emails will be sent to your Fordham email address, it is important that you get access to your account as soon as possible.

OASIS Password
This is a university system and not supported by FB. You need to use OASIS support page or contact the University Help Desk for support.  Since you will be registering for classes and checking your grades via this site, it is important that you get access to your account as soon as possible.

Fordham FAQ System
This is a university system and not supported by FB. The Fordham FAQ system contains answers to some of the most frequently asked questions regarding such topics as Admission, Financial Aid, Registrar and Student Accounts.

Blackboard Password
This is a university system and not supported by FB. You need to use Blackboard support site for help.  Many professors are starting to use Blackboard site to post class notes and homework assignments. For information regarding instruction and accounts, please refer to the Student Guide (see linke below) or contact Faculty Resource Centers at 212-636-7788 or 718-817-4706.

Library Resource Password
This is a university system and not supported by FB. Fordham library offers a large number of premium online research databases. If you want to access them from home, you will asked for a user name and password.
