Fordham Email
What is my Fordham Email?
The univeristy email system sets up your Fordham email account shortly after your class registration (generally within two days). You email address most likely will be in the following format assuming your name is Jane Doe:
doe@fordham.edu or
jdoe@fordham.edu or
jadoe@fordham.edu
Each email has a unique web address. For example, if your email is
jdoe@fordham.edu,
then your web address will be:
http://mail-lc.fordham.edu/j/jdoe.nsf
NOTE: "lc" stands for "Lincoln Center" campus, "rh" stands for "Rosehill" campus; email servers on both campuses access the same email database. Use the one that is closer to you. If one fails, try the other.
New students receive information about their Fordham email account during orientation. If you are a current student and do not know how to access your email, contact the university help desk to get your email account info (See below).
Please note that FB Direct and Fordham Email system are two separate systems. FB Direct staff can not help you with your Fordham email account info because we do not manage the Fordham email system. You must contact the university help desk for support (see contact info below). Conversely, the Help Desk can not help you with your FB Direct account problems. Please contact us directly about your FB Direct related issues and we will resolve it within 24 hours (Click on "Help" link at the bottom of the page).
Please also note that the Student Services Office requires all email accouncements to be sent to students' Fordham email addresses. So it is important for you to know how access your Fordham email account and check for messages regularly.
